Brandin 703-2 df 'demo'; 2 pc / 3 tips. This has been my personal small stream rod for many years now; it casts a DT3 line, though when fishing small brushy streams where the casts are generally very short a #4 line may be preferable for some anglers. It has the two original tips as well as a third tip which I made a bit stronger to carry a DT4 line. Grip is a modified cigar and the reelseat is dual slide band over cork with a walnut 'button' at the butt end. This rod was made in 1992 and is from the early time period when I first started sharing shop space in California with Mario Wojnicki. It is a solid built rod with brown wraps and old tungsten steel guides and light carbaloy stripper. One original tip has the slightest casting set (very minor) and the grip is moderately soiled. Those exceptions noted, the rod is in excellent original condition and I offer it here with the three tips for the same price as a current rod of this model, minus the approximately five year wait. The rod bag is my old open style and the tube has the brass and aluminum end caps which I used to make myself (current end caps are all brass).
